Rules for the High Peaks Region in the Adirondack Park New rules have come into affect in the High Peaks Region. With increasing
pressure cause by greater use, the changes were implemented to protect
the resources. The plan suggests actions including banning camping above
4,000 feet, limiting camping in heavily used areas, banning campfires
and bottles, and limiting the numbers of campers in large groups. Go
