Fisk Quarry
Close enough for a wonderful picnic, Fisk Quarry on Isle La Motte, is
a quarry resevoir where you will see lots of small wildlife -- tad poles,
minnows, birds and frogs abound. Bonus: rock hounds delight in
the fossils which are plentiful. Go

Moosalamoo Region
As this name suggests, this large contiguous habitat is home to numerous
animals, including the moose. Other inhabitants include bobcat, bear,
weasel and many birds of prey including the reestablished Peregrine Falcons
that nest on the Cliffs of Horrid and Rattlesnake Cliffs. Go

Catamount
Trail call for volunteers for trail maintenance
The Catamount trail starts on the Massachusetts border and winds its way
300 miles north through Vermont to the Canadian border. It offers terrific
back-country skiing and snowshoeing. The Trail Association is looking
for volunteers to help maintain the trail. Trail days to be announced.
