Adirondack Rides (Level 4)
The Canton Bicycle Club has posted roughly
25 biking trips in the Adirondack Park region. Complete with descriptions
of road conditions, climbs and difficulty rating. Rides are listed by

Biking Trails in Vermont: 6 rides an hour
(or so) away from Burlington
These are incredibly detailed directions
(i.e. Mile 4.8 - Bear left at pole # 173 and ride rolling terrain) to
6 rides of various ability levels. While not officially in the Champlain
Valley, these rides at the Catamount Family Center in Williston are easily
accessible (approx. 1 hour) from Burlington off Exit 12 on Interstate

Lake Kushaqua Loop Trail
This gentle loop sounds like a terrific
trail for a family outing or leisurely ride. With 2 miles of level double
track along the shore of Lake Kushaqua, the initial ride is family friendly.
For those with older children and the hankering for a larger adventure,
the remaining 11 miles are dirt roads with gentle grades. Go

Road Cycling on Vermont black top

over. Not for the faint of heart or flabby of leg as most of these rides
are over 90 Km long (55 miles or so). With 17 routes in Vermont, complete
