Biking Trails in Vermont: 6 rides an hour (or so) away from Burlington
These are incredibly detailed directions (i.e. Mile 4.8 - Bear left at pole # 173 and ride rolling terrain) to 6 rides of various ability levels. While not officially in the Champlain Valley, these rides at the Catamount Family Center in Williston are easily accessible (approx. 1 hour) from Burlington off Exit 12 on Interstate 89. Go >>

This gentle loop sounds like a terrific trail for a family outing or leisurely ride. With 2 miles of level double track along the shore of Lake Kushaqua, the initial ride is family friendly.
